Nahshon Route – Attorney of Counsel

Previously an associate, Nahshon Route now serves Of Counsel in the Baton Rouge office of Doran & Cawthorne. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Nahshon received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining Doran & Cawthorne, Nahshon worked in municipal and state government as a legislative liaison and attorney. Due to his experience, Nahshon is well versed in advising public and non-profit boards on issues of governance and compliance. Nahshon is general counsel for several public agencies and small businesses. Additionally, Nahshon serves as a staff attorney in the Office of the Public Defender for St. Mary Parish.

At Doran & Cawthorne, Nahshon practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, general civil litigation, business law, and probate. Nahshon is licensed in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
